Doc Martin: Behind The Scenes

Here is a glimpse of Doc Martin in the making...

PRODUCTION NOTES:   For those not in the know, this is the 7th season of Doc Martin.  The reason fans have to wait so long is new episodes are filmed every other year from March through July in scenic Port Isaac (known as Portwenn in the show) a sleepy burg in Cornwall.   Most of the interior scenes are carried out in a converted barn at a local farm.  The Doc’s practice takes place at Fern Cottage, the Village Shop is at the Liberal Club and Mrs. Tishell’s chemist shop is a house called Little Dolphins on Middle Street.  See the beauty of this majestic location and how it compliments the filming.

Listen to this podcast where the crew caught up with visitors who attended the filming of series 7 in the quaint town of Port Isaac.

Don't miss  DOC MARTIN Wednesdays at 8pm on WLRN-TV.
