Topical Currents

The Dramatic World of an Undercover Union Organizer

books.simonandschuster.com

02/22/16 - Monday’s Topical Currentsis with New York Magazine staff writer, James Walsh. He’s written about a little-known piece of the South Florida economy:  the secret struggle to unionize service industry workers in “racinos,” such as Calder and Mardi Gras.  Needless to say, these efforts are not supported by management. James Walsh is the author of PLAYING AGAINST THE HOUSE: The Dramatic World of an Undercover Union Organizer. That’s Topical CurrentsMonday at 1pm.
