02/27/13 - Wednesday's  Topical Currents discusses workplace laws and rights.  If you’re a private sector employee, you really have very few rights . . . and can be let go without specific cause.  Race or age discrimination, harassment or sexual exploitation, however, can be grounds for litigation.  We’ll have two employment and workers rights experts on hand to take listener questions:  labor and employment law attorney Donna Ballman and Paula Brantner, Executive Director of Workplace Fairness, a non-profit which advocates for and promotes employee rights..  That’s Topical Currents . . .
