Topical Currents

Housing for Low Income Seniors

www.ehdoc.org

10/23/14 - Thursday's Topical Currents begins with a new look at what’s always been termed the “Golden Years.” Many seniors in this country are in a “survival mode,” living day-to-day on Social Security. Many also face an affordable  housing crunch, which will worsen as more and more boomers retire.  Our guest is Steve Protulis, Executive Director of Elderly Housing Development and Operations Corp (EHDOC) a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing for low-income seniors.  And more . . . Linda Gassenheimer explores the delicious world of Colombian coffees. Topical Currents . . . Thursday at 1pm.
