Junior Seau: The Life and Death of a Football Icon

11/24/15 - Who wouldn’t envy this?:  leave a poor neighborhood, star at vaunted USC, go first round in the NFL draft, play in 12-Pro Bowls and the Super Bowl, and enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame. On Tuesday’s Topical Currents we discuss the life of the late Junior Seau, whose NFL teams included the Miami Dolphins. A victim of chronic head trauma, he was a suicide in 2012, at age 43. We’ll speak with his biographer, longtime sports journalist, Jim Trotter - his book is Junior Seau: The Life and Death of a Football Icon. That’s Tuesday, at 1pm.
