The Odd Doctor and Old Fashioned Detective

8pm DOC MARTIN - Comedy/Drama - A popular comedy-drama that stars Martin Clunes as Doctor Martin Ellingham, whose truculence and tactless manner causes mayhem in a small Cornish community. 

Always On My Mind - Irate husband Phil Pratt accuses Dr. Ellingham of killing his wife Helen when he comes to their house to treat her. Then a horrific accident on the farm leaves Mr. Pratt desperately needing the doctor to save his life. Joan finds him trapped under a tractor, where he has been all night. A new teacher at Portwenn primary school, Tricia Soames, has sore hands. The doctor soon realizes that Tricia is showing all the signs of obsessive compulsive disorder. Meanwhile, things are looking up for P.C. Mylow on the romance front. Julie invites him to her house for coffee. He doesn't leave until the following morning, looking rather disheveled, but with a smile on his face.

9pm INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY -  Crime Drama - An old-fashioned Scotland Yard detective pursue law-breakers.
 

Gently in the Blood – Gently and Bacchus are investigating the trade in fake passports when the body of a young civil servant, who had been working at the passport office, is found by the sea alongside her mixed-race baby. Gently uncovers a turf war between rival criminal gangs
 

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
