Once Again, State And National Attention Turns To Broward Vote Counting

More than two hours after the polls closed in most of Florida, the marquee races — for governor and U.S. Senate were too close to call.

Republican Ron DeSantiswas leading Democrat Andrew Gillum in the governor’s race and Republican Rick Scott was leading U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla.

But once again, there were many votes still uncounted in Florida’s biggest Democratic stronghold, Broward County.
