PGA Leaves Doral, Officer Arrested In Corey Jones' Death, State Takes Over Opa-Locka

The crown jewel in Donald Trump’s resort hotel portfolio will not play host to a PGA tournament next year. After 54 years, the tournament is getting a new home in Mexico City. Organizers say the World Golf Classic at Trump National Doral is moving south of the border because of sponsorship money, but how did Trump’s politics play into the decision?

The former Palm Beach Gardens police officer who shot and killed Corey Jones on an I-95 exit ramp last October was charged with manslaughter this week. We’re learning more about the final moments before the shooting began.

Plus, the state of Florida comes to the rescue. A financial emergency is declared for Opa-Locka. The city is struggling to pay its bills amid a federal corruption investigation.
