Classically trained painter Nicholas Petrucci has dedicated much of his artist’s  life to portrait painting. He recently embarked on a new project,  painting portraits for a single cause.  What resulted was Guardians of the Everglades, a series of 10 portraits of people that he sees as the protectors of the Everglades.

The three, young Italian tenors, Piero Barone (19), Ignazio Boschetto(18) and Gianluca Ginoble (17) of Il Volo proved to win the hearts of PBS viewers nationwide in March 2012 with more than 2,100 broadcasts of their DPTV special  from the Detroit Opera House, Il Volo Takes  Flight. Now, they return with their second PBS special, Il Volo We Are Love, filmed at The Fillmore on Miami Beach in March.
