The officers of the Community Advisory Board shall be a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Secretary. Officers shall be elected at the first meeting of the fiscal year and shall serve for one year. Officers shall be eligible for reelection.

The current CAB Chair is Frederick F. Thornburg; the Vice-Chair is James Swain; the Secretary is Alan Greer.
The CAB's Issues and Outreach subcommittee helps investigate and identify issues of community concern. Members are available to speak at meetings of other community and civic groups, and to receive feedback on WLRN's programming policies. Contact Darrell Payne or Blair Walker, Issues & Outreach Subcommittee Co-Chairs, c/o WLRN CAB, at 172 N.E. 15th Street, Miami, Florida 33132.
The CAB's Membership subcommittee accepts and evaluates applicants for any board positions and makes recommendations to the CAB Selection Committee. Interested applicants should forward a resume, with a letter of interest detailing (1) the applicant's interest in WLRN, (2) the applicant's involvement in any community groups or organizations, and (3) the applicant's ability to
represent the cultural, educational, civic, ethnic, geographic, and economic diversity of South Florida, to the attention of Albert Jones or Alex Herrera, Membership Subcommittee Co-Chairs, c/ o WLRN CAB, at 172 N.E. 15th Street, Miami, Florida 33132.
The CAB's Reports subcommittee helps prepare the Annual Report and coordinates with the WLRN General Manager and staff on other reports to the CAB. Contact David Berley or Betsy H. Kaplan, Reports Subcommittee Co-Chairs, c/o WLRN CAB, at 172 N.E. 15th Street, Miami, Florida 33132.
