The Mission and Long Range Planning subcommittee is charged with formulating for CAB member consideration and approval: (1) a CAB mission statement which will set forth the CAB's multifaceted missions and serve as the general guideposts and parameters for the CAB's advisory endeavors and activities; and (2) a long-range, strategic plan which will establish CAB goals and objectives and serve as the blueprint and action plan for future CAB undertakings designed to achieve such goals and objectives. The Social and Special Events subcommittee is responsible for coordinating periodic events including social functions, workshops, and/or retreats designed to enhance collegiality amongst CAB members and to promote the exchange of ideas and the sharing of the interesting multitude of diverse experiences, talents and backgrounds of the CAB members.
