Night Train
Every Sunday, at 8:00 pm on 91.3 WLRN

Each Sunday night at 8:00 for over 30 years, Ted Grossman dons his engineer's hat and stokes the boilers as the Night Train leaves the station for another tour of the big band and swing eras of jazz. Ted, who, with his encyclopedic knowledge of the genre, could probably tell you what studio a recording was made in and who the engineer was, expertly mans the controls. Often included in the program are rare, complete radio broadcasts of bands like those of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. The train also stops at more modern stations as well, covering abroad landscape of jazz and swing music. All Aboard!
