GET A MASK. GIVE A MASK.

Face masks have become part of our new reality. And WLRN has you covered! If you can't show your smile, why not show your support for the fact-based coverage you count on from NPR and WLRN!

When you donate $10/month or more, you can do twice the good. Get a Mask/Give a Mask offers as your Thank You gift a high quality microfiber face mask featuring the WLRN/NPR logo on a black mask, with your choice of message: “Facts Matter” or “Fact Up.” Your mask also includes a lanyard to keep it close, and keep it clean.

And for every mask requested WLRN is pleased to donate one unbranded mask to those in need through our community partnership with Camillus House.

It all starts with you. With many challenges still ahead, your donation helps sustain WLRN’s vital coverage – the coverage you count on. Donate today and you’ll be giving something of value to those in need across the airwaves, and to all those in need served by our friends at Camillus House. Thank you for your support!

Since 1960, Camillus House has grown to become South Florida’s most comprehensive care-provider for homeless women, men, families and youth. For the 1,700 individuals under a Camillus House roof in Miami-Dade County on any given night, we are dedicated to improving their lives by advancing our mission which states, “ Rooted in the compassionate Hospitality of St. John of God, we improve the quality of life of those who are vulnerable and homeless in South Florida through the provision of a continuum of housing and supportive services.”

About the mask: These masks are made with high quality microfiber, hand/machine washable and can be dried in a household or commercial drier. They are made with a pocket to insert a filter, if needed. The elastic bands on these masks are made long enough to accommodate any face size and can adjust to the desired fit. Wearing a barrier like a mask helps prevent face touching, and lowers the risk of bringing viruses and bacteria into your mouth, nose and eyes. This lowers the probability from becoming infected with communicable diseases such as the coronavirus (COVID-19), influenza and the common cold.

Disclaimer: This mask should not be used in any surgical setting or where significant exposure to liquid, bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected; in a clinical setting where the infection risk level through inhalation exposure is high; or in the presence of a high intensity heat source or flammable gas.
