Sundial Book Club

This month, WLRN’s Sundial Book Club is reading "Dear Haiti, Love Alaine" by Haitian-American sisters Maika and Maritza Moulite. The story follows a high schooler named Alaine who is assigned a school project that takes her to Haiti, where she learns about her home country’s history and family’s secrets. Sundial speaks with both sisters about their writing process, young adult novels and how writing the book helped teach them about their own background.
