May 19, 2014

05/19/14 - Monday’s Topical Currents features an interview with writer and author, Roxane Gay.  Literary contributor, Ariel Gonzalez speaks with her about her debut novel, An Untamed State. As the child of Haitian immigrants who was raised in the suburbs, mostly in the Midwest, Roxane Gay has long been consumed with the question of how we inhabit multiple identities.  Her novel, set in Port au Prince, is the story of a once independent Haitian American attorney, who is kidnapped, and struggles to maintain her sanity.  Join us for Topical Currents Monday at 1pm.
