Two Broward teachers lose their licenses temporarily for allegations of improper force with students.

Two Broward teachers are banned from teaching in Florida schools for the near future after one was accused of forcefully grabbing an 11-year-old boy’s neck and another was accused of dropping a 4-year-old two feet to the ground.

Samuel Parrondo, 44, was fired from his $49,000-a-year job teaching special needs students at Olsen Middle in Dania Beach on Sept. 4 for an altercation with a student that happened in 2016.

Although he escaped discipline from the district, the state recently investigated and suspended his teaching license for a one-year. That makes him unable to teach in Broward or anywhere else in the state until August. 2020.
