City of Hollywood Founder Joseph Young

(8-1-2017) Most South Floridians have strolled Young’s Circle in Hollywood . . . but may not know of its namesake, Joseph Young, the City’s founder.

Today’s Topical Currents is with historian Joan Mickelson, the author of Joseph W. Young, Jr., And The City Beautiful.

Young was also instrumental in the creation of Port Everglades, and his historic home is rumored to harbor a resident ghost!
