On the Florida Roundup, we talk about the week's top stories with the area's journalists.  

SOTU AND CUBA

In Pres. Obama's address to the nation, he urged Congress to end the embargo on Cuba and expanding the U.S. relationship to the island. After 54 years, officials from both countries met in Havana to re-establish diplomatic ties, but change won't come quickly. 

RISING SEAS

The Miami-Dade County Commission considers marching orders to adapt to the threat of rising seas. Also, a National Geographic feature looks at the costs and possible futures for South Florida in the midst of climate change.

MUGSHOTS

The North Miami Beach police chief apologized to his community after it was revealed that a shooting range used real mugshots for target practice.
