If you don't want to drive — or find parking — for New Year's Eve celebrations, South Florida's public transit systems have some options for you.

Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County's bus service, PalmTran, is running buses on its regular schedule New Year's Eve. PalmTran spokesman Joe Harrington noted that most routes don't run late enough to provide transportation home from festivities that are likely to go into the wee hours of New Year's Day. Neither Harrington nor a spokeswoman for the county knew of any other countywide shuttle programs for the evening.

PalmTran, PalmTran Connection and Go Glades are not operating on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

The town of Jupiter is offering $15 vouchers to residents for New Year's Eve as part of its Ride Safe Jupiter program. The vouchers are only good for transportation within town limits.

Broward County

Broward County Transit is operating its regular weekday schedule on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Jan. 1, it will operate on a Sunday schedule and administrative offices will be closed. There will be no Express or Breeze bus service on New Year's Day.

Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade Transitis operating its regular weekday schedule on Tuesday, with early service for Route 95 Golden Glades Express, beginning at noon.
