Floridians With Disabilities Save For The Future

Saving for the future has not always been easy for parents who have children with disabilities. Before the ABLE Act, which allows for tax-advantaged savings programs for eligible people with disabilities, parents relied on government assistance programs to meet their children's needs. John Finch serves as the Director of ABLE United at the Florida Prepaid College Board in Tallahassee, Florida. Bridget Hawk is an activist and the mother of Shaun, who has athetoid cerebral palsy. They joined Sundial to talk about ABLE United, a statewide program helping those with disabilities open saving accounts.

The Norton Art Museum Residency

The Norton Museum of Art recently announced a new artist-in-residence program. Starting in January of 2020, four artists will be living and working in West Palm Beach in subsidized housing near the museum.  Tim Wride, curator of photography at The Norton Museum of Art joined Sundial to talk about how the artists were selected and the work they will be doing in West Palm.
