"Solving an Epidemic: Addressing human trafficking around major events like the Super Bowl and the need for cross-jurisdictional solutions" focused on combating human trafficking and how the federal government could help local law enforcement.

“With the Super Bowl coming up everybody knows that there should be heightened awareness,” Shalala said on Sundial.

Shalala joined the program to discuss the prevalance of human trafficking in South Florida, the actions being taken on a federal level to help victims, how to improve federal response and preparedness efforts. Sundial also asked Shalala how she will be voting on the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
