From California to New Jersey, people have been connecting with victims of Irma using the Facebook safety check-in to to offer help to people who were forced to evacuate Florida due to Hurricane Irma.
The Google map below contains posts from people who have offered help in the form of food, shelter and even diapers. Many posters are offering to ship needed items and encourage those in need to personally contact them via Facebook.
