The Miami Hurricanes have been saying they get no respect from the national media.

Well, they’re getting it now.

The Hurricanes, who overwhelmed Notre Dame on Saturday night with a 41-8 pounding at Hard Rock Stadium, leaped to No. 2 in both the Associated Press and Amway coaches polls on Sunday to reach their highest ranking since 2003, the last season in which they finished with 10 victories.
