A Broward County judge is set to be publicly reprimanded by the Florida Supreme Court next month.
During her 2022 re-election campaign, Judge Mardi Levey Cohen forwarded an email about her election opponent to a political club — without verifying the accuracy of the claims.
Following an investigation, the state Judicial Qualifications Commission recommended a 10-day suspension without pay and a public reprimand for Levey Cohen.
Earlier this month, the Florida Supreme Court signed off on the Judge’s suspension. She will appear before the court on June 3.
