Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, will campaign Thursday in Miami-Dade County.
Harris is slated to meet with Black leaders, including U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., at Florida Memorial University, according to an announcement Wednesday.
Emhoff is scheduled to meet in Aventura with rabbis from South Florida. Presidential candidate Joe Biden also is expected to campaign in Florida on Tuesday, though his campaign has not released details.
Florida is a key battleground state in the presidential race, with Republican President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence making frequent trips to the state.
Trump appeared in Palm Beach County on Tuesday.
