Florida Roundup Tackles Race And Hate, Immigration, Opioids And Medical Marijuana

This week on the Florida Roundup Tom Hudson is joined by a panel of journalists to discuss race relations and hate, immigration and law enforcement, plus the expansion of medical marijuana dispensaries in Florida as the state battles an opioid epidemic.

Richard Spencer, one of the leaders of last weekend’s violent white supremacy rally in Virginia has been denied a permit to speak at the University of Florida next month. The school rejected the request over safety concerns. Florida is home to the second highest number of hate groups in the nation with lots of public reminders of the Confederacy.
