Riverboat Renovations and Missing Relics

A barge turns into luxury accommodations at the Chateau and mysterious relics go missing in Midsomer.

Dick and Angel turn a 35-foot eight-ton riverboat into luxury guest accommodation. For years, the couple has been working hard to create four elegant guest suites inside the French chateau and a glamping site outside. Now they turn their focus on making a second site on the opposite side of their moat.

To achieve this, Angel purchased a 40-year-old boat called Dolphin that was in desperate need of some TLC - and transformation is nothing less than impressive.

Barnaby finds resistance to the project by locals who claim they already have the saint's relics on display in vicar Peter Corby's church. The one exception is Peter's brother Christopher who regards his brother's claim to be false and encourages the dig. Two victims later Barnaby discovers instances of fraud, extra-marital affairs and false identity before he solves the case, differentiating between saints and sinners.
