Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, will not be prosecuted for battery.

The announcement came Thursday from the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office confirming predictions that had been swirling the past few days.

After a campaign event last month in Jupiter Florida, a former reporter for Breitbart News Network, Michelle Fields, filed a police report claiming someone yanked her by the arm. Another reporter confirmed it was Lewandowski.

Lewandowski was later charged by police with simple battery, which is a misdemeanor.

On Dec. 17, almost three months before the annual legislative session began, new Senate President Andy Gardiner met with reporters in the conference room of his Capitol office. He talked with the press for 30 minutes, touching on a wide variety of issues, including a plan by business groups and others that would use Medicaid expansion dollars to help lower-income Floridians purchase private health insurance.

This year Fort Lauderdale commissioners passed a series of laws that have homeless advocates livid.

For example, it's now illegal to sleep in public places in the city's downtown. It's also illegal to beg for money at major intersections within the city. Most recently, a new set of rules were approved that make it harder for non-profits and churches to feed the homeless.
