It's been more than two months since Florida's first COVID-19 cases were announced and nearly two months since Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis initially issued a stay-home order for the entire state.
That order has since been lifted for most of the state — initially excluding Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties — and more businesses and public spaces are reopening here in South Florida.
In that time there's been debate over the speed of the state's response to the coronavirus, major issues with Florida's online unemployment system, and confusion over testing numbers.
With all that in mind, we want to know, what do you think about how Gov. Ron DeSantis has handled the state's response to the coronavirus pandemic?
If you’d like to share your thoughts about Florida’s reopening, text us a voice memo recording to 786-786-7826. And feel free to send us a voice memo or any other thoughts at talktous@wlrnnews.org. Your responses may be used in our South Florida Roundup program, which airs Friday at 1 p.m.
