Parkland Shooter's School Records, Sen. Bob Graham & Korean Pop YouTuber

Miami Herald
Bob Graham was the 38th governor of Florida and a U.S. Senator.

On Friday, Broward Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer ruled that Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz’s education records should be made public. The report will show how schools, teachers, and the district handled the troubled teen throughout his years in the education system. Defense attornies say the report appears to have been designed to help the district defend itself against civil lawsuits filed by some of the victims’ families. Education reporter Colleen Wright from the Miami Herald joined Sundial to explain the judge’s argument and what the public may learn from the records.

Former Florida Governor and Sen. Bob Graham had a huge role in bringing the movie industry to Florida, and will receive a lifetime achievement award for his contributions from the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. In recent years, Graham has focused on civics education and is now back in the political sphere as his daughter Gwen Graham vies to be the Democratic nominee for Governor. Graham joined Sundial to talk about changes he’s witnessed in politics, the evolution of the film industry in Florida and some of the major environmental challenges currently facing the state.

A lucky few have managed to make a living off of creating YouTube videos. One Miami native is doing it through reaction videos. Known as JRE, he has brought the world of Korean Pop, or K-Pop, to Miami. JRE sets up his cameras, watches K-pop vides, records his reactions and posts the videos on YouTube. He has over a million followers. On Sundial JRE shared the life of a YouTube star, the keys to creating a “viral” video and the future of YouTubing.
