Double Homicide Investigation Underway, Victims Identified As Missing Protester And AARP Volunteer

The Tallahassee Police Department says the two people found dead Saturday on Monday Road are 19-year old Toyin Salau and 75-year-old Victoria Sims. Salau had been a fixture at recent local protests over police brutality and Sims was an AARP volunteer.
Both women had been missing for days. Salau was last seen on June 6 and Sims was last seen on June 11th. Both deaths are being investigated as homicides.
TPD has identified the suspect as 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr. His physical address is on Monday Road, where the women were found. This case marks Glee’s third arrest in recent weeks. He’s currently facing assault charges in two of the cases. According to court records, On May 29th Glee was seen standing over and kicking a woman in the stomach after she refused his request for sexual favors. The day prior, Glee had reportedly punched a man in the face at a bus stop.

The bodies of Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau, 19, a missing protester and Victoria Sims, 75, an AARP volunteer were found on Monday street, Saturday night. The Tallahassee Police Department released the information Monday morning. TPD has taken a suspect, 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr, into custody.
Before going missing Salau had tweeted that she was molested after accepting a ride from a black man in his 40’s that drives a Silverado Chevrolet truck.
Salau had been vocal in recent protests around the city, appearing on local television several times. Sims was a volunteer with the AARP.
This isn't Glee's first run-in with law enforcement. He was arrested June 9 on a battery charge, and May 30 for aggravated battery.
The deaths are being investigated as homicides. TPD says they will release more information as the investigation progresses.
