Snubbed After Two Presidential Searches, Miami Dade College’s Top Academic Leader Resigns

Lenore Rodicio, center, has resigned as Miami Dade College's provost and executive vice president.

Lenore Rodicio, Miami Dade College’s executive vice president and provost who was twice in the running to be the next president of the college, has resigned.

Rodicio is going to work for a national organization, said spokesman Juan Mendieta, who said Rodicio texted him the news Tuesday.

Phone calls to Rodicio were not immediately returned.
