Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie visits a classroom at Broward Estates Elementary School on Oct. 9, the first day of the district's reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some Broward students returning to school after winter break were unable to log in Monday morning due to Internet problems.

It was unclear how long the outage would last.

“Staff is working to determine the cause of the problem and resolve it as quickly as possible,” the district said in a statement. “Families are being notified of the situation via robocalls, emails and the District’s mobile app.”
