Also, Broward County has its own struggles with traffic congestion it’s trying to address with a sales tax referendum. On Nov. 8, Broward voters will be asked to decide on a measure that would raise the sales tax from the current 6 percent to 7 percent to pay for a wide range of transportation and infrastructure projects. But this plan has drawn some critics, so what are the chances that the tax hike will pass? We ask  Rosemary O’Hara, editorial page editor of the Sun-Sentinel, and WLRN’s Kate Stein .
