The ambitious young British detective Miranda Blake and her laid-back German partner Max Winter join forces to fight crime on the picturesque island of Mallorca.
Total opposites Miranda Blake, a Detective Constable with London's Metropolitan Police, and Max Winter, a German detective, are teamed up to solve crimes, generally ones committed against the international community, on the island of Mallorca.

Max and Miranda embark on a culinary journey through gastronomic Mallorca to uncover the murderer of the famous food critic Oliver Barker.
Miranda and Max investigate the poisoning of food critic Oliver Barker during a meal cooked by his favorite chef. Their suspects were those seated at the table and staff of the restaurant, until the autopsy revealed he had been poisoned the day before with mushrooms. Delving into the victim's and suspects past they discover a connection at the university and a motive for revenge.
