U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris is the first woman of color to accept the nomination to become the vice presidential candidate on the Democratic ticket.

Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, is scheduled to make a Palm Beach County stop on Monday as well.

Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, will resume in-person campaigning Monday with stops in Jacksonville and Orlando.

The Joe Biden campaign has not released specific details about the events. The visit, however, is timed to coincide with the start of early voting in the Sunshine State.

Harris's spouse, Doug Emhoff, will also campaign in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
