#GivingTuesday has grown into a global generosity movement with a day that inspires millions to celebrate giving. People are empowered to affect communities and the world through the power of social media.
Celebrated on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it follows the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
This year #GivingTuesday is Tuesday, December 3rd.
It's become the first global holiday to transcend borders, languages, cultures, and customs, uniting people for one common purpose: To Do Good.
