Tropical Storm Karen Aims For Puerto Rico While Depression Is Forecast To Become Lorenzo Today

Welcome to autumn. There are two tropical storms, Karen and Jerry, being monitored by the National Hurricane Center and by the end of the first day of fall Tropical Storm Lorenzo is expected to form.

Currently, Tropical Storm Karen is moving through the southeastern Caribbean Sea and the forecast is predicting it will travel north over or very close to Puerto Rico.

Because of its track, a tropical storm warning was issued Monday for Puerto Rico as well as the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. The warning means tropical storm conditions are likely withing 36 hours.
