Carlos Curbelo Talks Democratic Debate, Miami Music Day Hits 100 Plus Venues

The Democratic National Debate in Miami is around the corner.  For two nights, 20 candidates will take the stage at the Adrienne Arsht center to discuss a series of topics. The actual list has not been announced yet but it is likely gun violence, climate change and immigration will come up. Former Republican Representative from Florida’s 26th District Carlos Curbelo lost his seat to Debbie Murcasel Powell in the 2018 elections. He joined Sundial to talk about the upcoming debates and election.

Make Music Miami will be organizing free music performances throughout Miami-Dade County on June 21. It’s goal is to reach every Miamian with music and performances will take place at over 100 locations in the county. Students, amateurs, part-time professionals, and established artists will be able to perform as part of the larger Make Music Day which happens annually on June 21, the summer solstice. Justin Trieger is the co-founder of Buskerfest Miami and works with Make Music Miami, he joined Sundial to talk about the project.
