The Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments in the case of Trump vs. the United States. Before the court will be the question of whether a former President has immunity from prosecution for official acts committed while that President was in office.

The case against former President Trump is that immunity does not protect him from prosecution for attempting to subvert the results of the 2020 Presidential Election.

The former president faces felony charges for his actions in the lead up to the storming of the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters on January 6, 2021. Attorneys for the former President and the Special Counsel's office will each make arguments and there will be questions from the Justices.
