8pm DEATH IN PARADISECrime Drama - MURDER ON BOARD When a singer on a Caribbean cruise boat (and also Camille’s best friend) first collapses and then dies in her friend’s arms, DI Poole fears she has been poisoned.

Camille’s friend, singer Aimee, collapses and dies on a boat owned by local entrepreneur Stephen Morrison and his wife Eloise, also a vocalist. Aimee was poisoned and her flat has been ransacked. She was due to leave for a recording contract in Miami. Poole defies Patterson whose priority is the arrest of a local illegal drinks ring to comfort Camille and catch the murderer and soon discovers a link between the drink smugglers and the murderer.

9pm FRANKIE DRAKE MYSTERIES Crime Drama - Set in 1920s Toronto, the series follows the adventures of Frankie Drake at Drake Private Detectives, the city’s only all-female detective agency. 

The Old Switcheroo – When an old rival turns up selling antiquities, Frankie’s convinced it’s all a scam. She’s also believes a break-in at the museum is connected. Can the team prove it before she takes the money and runs?

Frankie Drake learns that her mother Nora has joined the board of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), promising to bring an influx of treasures to the museum’s fledgling antiquities collection. Frankie and Trudy investigate a break-in but find nothing’s been stolen.  Meanwhile, Flo and Mary Shaw are embroiled in a mystery of their own after discovering a body in the morgue has been intentionally misidentified. 

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
