A Look At Nature's Deadliest Predators

Operation Maneater: Great White Shark
PBS
Veterinarian Mark Evans with Great White Shark jaw

Nature Documentary - Veterinarian Mark Evans uses modern technology to tackle three predators: the great white shark, Nile crocodile and polar bear.

When these animals attack humans, both sides lose out. Veterinarian Mark Evans explores the resolution strategies of the human-wildlife conflict and looks at ways to stop these predators from attacking people, therefore keeping them safe from human persecution.

Thursday 8pm Great White Shark – Mark Evans travels to Western Australia, where seven people have been killed by sharks in the last three years. Authorities have implemented radical measures to catch and kill any shark they deem a threat. Evans wants to find non-lethal solutions to keep people — and sharks — safe.
