Republican incumbent Representative Brian Mast held on to Florida's District 18 congressional seat, based on unofficial results Tuesday night. Mast is a two term Congressman and U.S. Army veteran. He represents St. Lucie, Martin and northern Palm Beach counties.

The conservative incumbent defeated progressive Democratic candidate Pam Keith, a former Lt. Navy Commander and private attorney. Keith was backed by former presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Mast ran on campaign issues that include fighting for improving access to clean water in his district. His campaign also focused on affordable healthcare, expanding benefits for veterans, and improving care for seniors.

Mast is a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and Foreign Affairs committees.
