A Pair Of Lion Cubs Are Born At Lion County Safari

LION COUNTRY SAFARI
Lion Country Safari introduced two new lion cubs, Atlas and Mara, on the first day of the new year. They are the first African lion cubs to be born at the safari in nearly 20 years.

Lion Country Safari is starting the new year with two new lion cubs.

Atlas and Mara were introduced to the world on Wednesday, but were born on Nov. 8. They are the first cubs to be born at the safari, at 2003 Lion Country Safari Road in Palm Beach County in about 20 years.

The births of the lions comes after the safari was recommended to breed the felines for the Lion Species Survival program, the safari said. Lions are an endangered species.
