Miami residents have sued President Trump, Miami Dade College, and Florida officials over plans to donate downtown Miami property for Trump's presidential library. The lawsuit filed Wednesday says the donation violates the Domestic Emoluments Clause, which bars states from giving financial benefits to a sitting president.

Crews began demolishing Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday to make way for a memorial that will pay tribute to the 49 people killed in the attack at the LGBTQ-friendly club nearly a decade ago.

The law was passed in February and makes it a misdemeanor for people living in the U.S. illegally to enter the state.
