09/03/15 - Thursday’s Topical Currents looks at the history and quirks of Labor Day. Monday, most people will be off, of course. Canada’s Labor Day was established in 1882, ten years before the US’s. Traditionally, white or seersucker after the holiday was a sartorial gaffe. We’ll have many more. Also, Linda Gassenheimerand perhaps America’s favorite food: pizza pie. How about baking one on the grill this weekend? That’s Thursday at 1pm.
