The Broward County School District announced Sunday that all classes will be cancelled Monday, due to Eta. Both in-person and online learning were canceled Monday in Palm Beach and Miami Dade counties.
Broward County initially said in-person classes would shift to online for Monday, but after Florida Power and Light predicted a large number of power outages as a result of the storm, the school district canceled all classes.
Palm Beach County schools will close in-person and virtual classes and all district offices Monday, Superintendent Donald Fennoy said in a statement.
