Drivers heading into Miami-Dade through the spaghetti of merging highways known as the Golden Glades Interchange can expect significant delays after a dramatic fatal crash early Friday.
A vehicle crashed through the concrete barrier of an overpass and fell to the highway below and burst into flames. Along with Florida Highway Patrol troopers, representatives from the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office arrived at the scene before dawn. It’s believed up to two people may have lost their lives, reports the Sun Sentinel.
The crash happened sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m..
