Buried Treasure: lost, then found. Jimmy Buffett’s Buried Treasure is exactly that – a unique collection of acoustic songs that Jimmy wrote and recorded in the early days of his career, but then were lost for many years. A few years ago, when legendary Nashville producer Buzz Cason sold his recording studio, there was some cleaning up to do. That’s when a sizable collection of 1/4-inch tapes were found with the original demos of songs Jimmy had written and recorded in the late 60’s. In this special, Jimmy Buffett performs a collection of these early songs, many recorded in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama. It explores Buffett's "pre-beach" years and features revealing stories about what got him started in music, his early struggles, his determination, and endless days on the road perfecting his craft.
