Two Miami natives have joined forces to send Miamians on a treasure hunt of epic proportions and the goal is to ensure Miami’s hidden gems/treasures are not forgotten.

To provide a service for artists and creators, Artburst Miami is compiling a monthly list of available grants with details including deadlines and links to websites for applying.

Visual arts finalists Janae Crespo from New World School of the Arts and Nyle Jones from the Design & Architecture Senior High School shared about their process and excitement of being chosen from such a large group of applicants.

You will be immersed in books and surrounded by authors during the annual Miami Book Fair, the event Miami bookworms wait for with anticipation each November.

This was the nearly 40-year-old program's goal for this summer, said the director. Performers will be playing the clarinet, marimba, guitar and more.

Mana Public Arts and the muralist Krave are hoping to grow the Miami Mural Festival far beyond their original idea.
